Coronavirus Update

A Message from Pastor Salley

updated as of March 20th, 2020

Beloved St. Paul Community,

Since my last correspondence, I, along with members of our church leadership have continued to monitor the ever-evolving circumstances related to the coronavirus. As the landscape continues to shift and the details develop, we will continue to keep you informed especially with respect to how St. Paul Church and Community will be directly impacted.

During this season, our top priority is the health and well-being of our membership, staff and community. It is with this in mind, and after much prayer and reflection, that effective immediately all in-person gatherings of our church community are hereby suspended until further notice. This includes all rehearsals, meetings, and worship services.

Although we have maintained our facilities according to the suggested guidelines and precautions, the most up-to-date information suggest that we must take additional measures as we place the health and well-being of our entire community at the forefront. Additionally, we will continue to follow recommendations from government and health experts both nationally and locally as it relates to gathering sizes and other pertinent information.

We are living in unusual times but the good news of the day, is that GOD STILL IS! As we look toward the days ahead, let us be encouraged by the words of the psalmist that declared, “many things about tomorrow, I don’t seem to understand, but I know who holds tomorrow and I know who holds my hand.”

In this season of absence from our sanctuary, we are inviting you to join us as we continue to proclaim the “soul saving gospel of Jesus”, with the official launch of our “SPC - Virtual Campus” this Sunday, March 22 at 11am. Additionally, join us via conference call each weekday at 6am and 7:30pm for prayer.

Also, we encourage you to like us on Facebook ( and stay up to date on all things happening at St. Paul via our website ( and our church app, which is available for download on both iTunes and google play.

Our church office will be open virtually during our normal business hours of Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 2pm. If you have any questions, are in need of prayer, or just would like to talk, we encourage you to be in contact with us.

Lastly, please continue to let us pray for our world, leaders, all healthcare workers, our seniors, our children, our community and our church. And, rest assured that your Pastor is praying for you!

May God continue to be our comfort and our strength,

Yours in Service,

Reverend Tristan J. Salley,
